Jerry entered the investment industry directly from the University of Notre Dame in 1979 as an energy analyst at Harris Bancorp.
In 1981, he moved to Kemper Financial to assume responsibility for the energy sector, and soon was made a portfolio manager.
Eight years later, Jerry moved to Loomis, Sayles where he was a portfolio manager, eventually serving as Managing Partner of the Chicago office, along with Ed Clark.
Jerry and Ed left Loomis, Sayles in 1999 to form CastleArk Management LLC. Jerry is frequently seen on CNBC discussing his thoughts on large cap growth stocks and the energy sector in particular. In addition to his role as Chief Investment Officer, Jerry also is part of the large cap growth team and manages all of the firm's energy related products.

Ed began his career as a fixed income analyst and then portfolio manager at Northern Trust Company. After 10 years, he left to join Loomis, Sayles, where he was a Vice President and Core Fixed Income Lead Portfolio Manager.
In 1999, Ed left Loomis, Sayles to form CastleArk Management with Jerry Castellini. Ed manages all of the fixed income portfolios, as well as managing all non-investment aspects of the firm.

Bob began his investment career upon graduation from Northwestern University as an equity analyst at Kemper Financial Services. He was eventually promoted to Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, responsible for the Institutional equity portfolios.
After 21 years at Kemper, he joined Jerry, Ed, and Scott at Loomis, Sayles where he continued to use his Return on Invested Capital-focused large cap growth investment process.
Shortly after CastleArk was founded, Bob joined his former colleagues, bringing his seasoned and proven investment process with him. Bob is the lead manager for CastleArk's large cap growth product.
Scott S. Pape, CFA, CIC

Scott started his working career as an engineer at Amoco Oil. After obtaining his MBA, he joined Commonwealth Edison as an equity analyst in the Office of the Manager of Investments, which was responsible for managing the company's pension fund.
After 3 years at Commonwealth Edison, he spent 4 years at Sears Investment Management where he began managing midcap growth portfolios. He managed a midcap portfolio for the Illinois State Investment Board from 1987 - 1991, before joining Loomis, Sayles, where he also managed midcap growth portfolios.
Scott joined Jerry and Ed when they left Loomis, Sayles to form CastleArk Management. Scott continues to manage the midcap growth product for CastleArk, while also providing input to the large and small cap growth teams.

Jim began his career as an equity analyst at Investment & Capital Management in 1987. He then joined Kemper Financial Services as a research analyst supporting the portfolio managers, two of whom were Jerry Castellini and Bob Takazawa.
In 1993, Jim joined American Century as a small cap growth portfolio manager. After 12 years managing small cap growth portfolios, Jim teamed with Greg Baxter at M&I Investment Management.
In 2007, Jim and Greg reunited with Jerry and Bob to manage the small company growth portfolios for CastleArk.

Greg began his investment career as a portfolio manager and analyst in the University of Wisconsin's Applied Security Analysis program while earning his graduate degree.
Upon graduation, he joined Strong Capital Management as an analyst on the small cap growth team.
In 2005, he joined Jim Stark at M&I Investment Management as an analyst on the small cap growth product managed by Jim.
In 2007, Greg and Jim brought their small company growth expertise to CastleArk, where they co-manage the small company growth portfolios for CastleArk.

Rick began his investment career in 1983 with Commonwealth Edison, working as an equity analyst in the Office of the Manager of Investments, which was responsible for managing the company's pension fund.
Rick then spent nine years as an equity research analyst for Chicago Title and Trust Company (later ABN AMRO Asset Management) with responsibility for the Healthcare and Technology sectors. After four years as a portfolio manager with Duff and Phelps Investment Management he returned to ABN AMRO where he co-managed the ABN AMRO Growth and Balanced Funds and institutional separate accounts. He also held the position of Director of Equity Research for ABN AMRO Asset Management.
Rick joined CastleArk Management in 2008 as a portfolio manager with the Large Cap Growth team.
Quentin Ostrowski, CFA

Quentin entered the investment industry in 1988 in wealth management. He moved to the institutional side in 1993 when he joined Swiss Bank/O'Connor & Associates as an equity analyst. He eventually took on portfolio management responsibility for a long/short fund.
He then took his expertise to Compass Asset Management in 1997, where he continued his role as an equity analyst and long/short portfolio manager.
Quentin joined CastleArk in 2003 as a research analyst on the large cap growth team.

Tim entered the investment industry as a credit analyst for the National Bank of Washington in 1979. After two years, he moved to Harris Trust as a currency trader.
For the next 17 years, Tim held various currency related positions at First National Bank of Chicago, Chicago Research & Trading, and Bank One. These positions included trader, portfolio manager, and risk manager.
Tim joined CastleArk in 2002 as a research analyst on the Energy team. Tim is the brother of Ed Clark.

Troy spent several years as a professional golfer on the mini-tours before entering the investment business.
He joined Marlin Capital in 2000 as a research analyst, later becoming a portfolio manager on an Energy focused portfolio.
After seven years at Marlin Capital, Troy joined CastleArk in 2007 as a research analyst on the Energy team.

Steve spent more than 20 years with American National Bank as a portfolio manager for their index fund portfolios, eventually taking on the role of President of ANB Investment Management. He later moved to Dimensional Fund Advisors in the role of sales and client service.
Steve joined CastleArk in 2004 to head up business development.
