CastleArk Management is a registered investment advisor, offering investment management services to institutional and high net worth clients. CastleArk investment strategies include Large Cap, Small Company, and All-Cap growth equities, as well as Global Energy equities.

CastleArk is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and has 23 employees, including 13 investment professionals and three equity traders.

History

CastleArk Management was founded in January 1999 by Jerry Castellini and Ed Clark.

Mr. Castellini and Mr. Clark had previously managed the Chicago office of Loomis Sayles, where they managed more than $4 billion in growth equities. Upon founding CastleArk, they were joined by the bulk of the Loomis Sayles investment staff, which had built a top quartile performance record over a ten-year period.

Prior to Loomis Sayles, members of the CastleArk staff worked together at Kemper Financial in Chicago, where they developed the Large Cap growth investment philosophy and process.

Today, CastleArk Management has 23 employees and about $2.9 billion under management. The bulk of these assets are in the four core strategies: Large Cap growth, Small Company growth, All-Cap growth, and Global Energy.

CastleArk Management provides clients with access to proven investment strategies which have been designed to generate returns in excess of risk. Our investment team members share a common background as industry analysts and portfolio managers.

CastleArk believes that investment returns are maximized when we maintain a disciplined approach to growth investing. We have, therefore, placed asset capacity constraints on each strategy so that liquidity requirements do not force a change in our investment process.
